 The
University gives special attention to the cultural and social activities.
The University has set up a special administration for such activities and
services which prepare different programmes that enable and encourage students
to practice their hobbies and raise their awareness. These programmes consist
of cultural competitions among students by holding a cultural week for the
University students. Students are required to write short stories, poetry,
and prose essays. The University gives prizes to winners. Also, the University
sponsors sport competitions among the departments and faculties of the University.
Besides, it supervises seminar activities and scientific societies in the
departments of the faculties. The University has established several sport
facilities such as playgrounds for football, basketball, volleyball, tennis,
and table tennis. All these facilities have been located in the sport complex.
The University, also, has established a well-equipped clinic and a mosque
in the sport complex centre. |
