THE FACULTY OF DENTISTRY

ESTABLISHMENT & AIMS

It was established in the academic year 2000-2001 and, temporarily, it is situated within the campus of the Faculty of Science.

Aims: The faculty aims:

1- To provide official and non-official organizations with highly qualified medical cadres.

2- To conduct research, scientific studies, and offering experiences and scientific consultation to different sectors of the society.

3- To develop methods of learning and teaching in the field of dentistry

DURATION OF STUDY & THE ACADEMIC DEGREE AWARDED

The duration of study in the faculty is five years, divided into ten academic terms. Upon successful completion of these ten terms, students are awarded a bachelor's degree in Dentistry.
